FORESTHILL — November 2, 2026. Placer County’s current green-waste recycling guide identifies Foresthill Transfer Station at 6699 Patent Road with public operating days Friday through Monday.
Hours and who qualifies
The county lists 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday through Monday, and a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. until noon. The facility is associated with the Foresthill Fee Area; eligible residents should bring identification and check any required proof of account or residency.
Don’t assume any waste is accepted
General household waste and green materials follow operator rules. Hazardous chemicals, electronics and building debris may have separate disposal routes or charges, and staff can reject a load that does not comply.
Before driving
The county lists Recology Auburn Placer at 530-885-3735. Hours may change due to severe weather, holidays or maintenance. An older county brochure included different seasonal Tuesday hours, so use the latest published schedule rather than a stale document.
